This arrow link: ↓ will allow you to download the track for personal, noncommercial use; it’ll take you straight to the virus-free mp3 file.
This dollar sign: $ will link you to the song for purchase in the iTunes music store, but is not available for every song.
If none of these options are available/functioning, the last-resort method is to right-click the link and select either “Open in a new tab” or “Save File As”. Choosing either option will prompt you for a location to which to save the file.
Sometimes the kindly free hosts delete my files to make room for new ones. Ish happens, amirite? Help make
the world this blog a better place and lemme know at email@example.com. Thanks!

And about the music…
I wholeheartedly encourage you to buy the songs you enjoy using the links provided via the awesome Yahoo Web Player or the iTunes links I’ve been implementing (which will help offset my server costs!). Unfortunately, the Whos down in yaHooville didn’t realize that the glam Amazon Web Music Store hardly has it all. So for all those ‘buy’ links that are broken (or those of us that are broke ourselves), mp3 links are available.
Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. Most tracks are hosted by the very generous SoundOwl
and Hulkshare, and are not locally-hosted. MP3s are intended for streaming purposes only and link to a web player offering a purchase link for personal use. That being said, those with ownership inquiries regarding a track featured, please contact me directly; I’d be happy to take down any infringing work at your request!
