The mashups, tributes, and remixes of Daft Punk‘s just-released album, “Random Access Memories” (on iTunes now!), arrive unabated and in such quick succession it’s impossible to keep up with them. Here are just a few of my favorites, starting with the bizarrely-perfect merger of 2001: A Space Odyssey with the track “Contact”, above. Gotta hand it to T-Swift and 23-y.o. Belarusian Yashar Gasanov, who dubbed over her track “Safe & Sound” about a year ago, but never really got the recognition he sincerely deserves! Especially with this magical video of fiery orchids…wow.
