Update (5/21): WOW.

Past Updates

Update (5/18): The day is upon us!!! Newly-released SET TIMES and what promises to be the most confusing MAP ever…

Update (5/10): Despite offering only the promise of “Unannounced Superstar Special Guests!!!”, tickets to official Pacha-hosted EDC after parties have already gone on sale. Tickets are 39.18$ general admission, or 385$ VIP, both comprising fees.

Update (5/08): About a month ago, Elektro Daily leaked this potential layout for the carnival in New York, then pulled it when told it was “still under heavy review” by Insomniac reps. It’s resurfaced again, and this time it’s getting posted. One interesting point to note — the main stage, dubbed “Kinetic Field,” isn’t actually located within the stadium! And check out all the rides…

Update (4/26): With such an allstar lineup it’s almost hard to believe this, but MORE tickets are comin’ on sale TOMORROW at NOON — but only as SINGLE DAY passes. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets will all be available.

Update (4/20): The full lineup was announced today for Electric Daisy Carnival New York, with some interesting surprises for the added Friday. Click the lineup below to pop it up in a bigger size.

Update (4/17): Lineup for EDC New York arriving Friday @ noon! Partial lineup after the jump; tickets still available here!

Update (4/12): 3-Day passes are now on sale. About $290 comprising fees; no individual passees or 2-day passes available…

Update (4/11, 11:40am): Rumor has it Armin van Buuren’s joining EDC for the newly-added Friday. If you were a previous ticket purchaser, you received an exclusive link to buy a Friday-only ticket today at noon on Ticketmaster. All previous artists listed were for Saturday & Sunday, and two-day passes will also come back on sale on Thursday with the other forms of tickets.

Update (4/10, 5:18pm): Looks like Friday tix will cost $92 for general admission, $158 for VIP; neither including ticketmaster fees (typically about $10). The price for a 3-day pass has been listed at $268 plus fees.

Update (4/10, 1:33pm): Dammit, was just about to post some actual music when Pacha NYC sends out this bit: THIRD DAY ADDED! The festival dates are now Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19 & Sunday May 20. Tickets for all three days go back on sale THIS THURSDAY, April 12 at 12 noon ET (9am PT). If you have already purchased a 2-day pass, you will have a special limited-time opportunity to purchase a Friday pass on Wednesday before the public on-sale on Thursday. Details will be emailed to you. The official event hours are:

5/18/12: 4pm – 11pm
5/19/12: 12pm – 11pm
5/20/12: 12pm – 11pm

Thanks to MTV news, we have the “Phase 1 Lineup”: Afrojack, Alesso, An21 & Max Vangeli, Art Department, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, R3hab, Thomas Gold, Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss), with “many more” to be announced!

Update (4/07): Okay, this time it’s explicit — more news about EDC New York tickets to come next week!

Update (4/05): Bahhh… sorry to lead ya on like that; today’s big announcement was simply the lineup for Las Vegas’ EDC, and not the announcement of more tickets for EDC New York. Stay tuned…

Update (4/04): I know yall are chompin’ at the bit waiting for more EDC New York tickets to come out… well word on the street (aka Pasquale’s twitter post 2 hours ago) has it that tomorrow may be the big announcement…!

Update (3/31): Another update yesterday from Pasquale Rotella’s twitter, director of Insomniac Events; EDC New York ticketing logistics are underway with ticketmaster and the onsale date will be announced soon for the second round!

Update (3/27): Electric Daisy Carnival New York’s capacity increase has officially been approved, and more tickets will be coming soon, as Pasquale returns to his twitter following a 12-day hiatus. Hurrah!

Update (3/26): Not the greatest news to report… After the arrests of four head officials at the LA Coliseum, the location of the first ever EDC held two years ago, Insomniac Events’ CEO Pasquale Rotella has been indicted on 29 counts of business malfeasance, suggesting loose accounting practices and possible bribery, and is today facing a grand jury. General sentiment is that the case will be dismissed as an overreaction to the highly over-publicized death of the 15-year-old girl who illegally snuck into the event and proceeded to die of hyponatremia, or water intoxication, linked to her illegal use of the drug Ecstasy. In any case, without Pasquale able to spend his time doing what he does better than anyone else in the industry, the release of more EDC tix will surely be delayed. Insomniac released a press release Friday looking to harness the groundswell: “If you feel so inclined we would greatly appreciate you and your teams’ continued support, using the hashtag #PasqualeIsInnocent and tagging @PasqualeRotella on your Twitter accounts, Facebook, etc.” In the meantime, perhaps redirect your attention to the release of the absolutely ridiculous and insultingly named record “MDNA” by world-famous pop icon Madonna…who walks unscathed after THIS ridiculousness at Ultra two days ago…
Update (3/17): From Pasquale Rotella‘s official twitter: “Thats the plan. Waiting on additional capacity approvals :) RT @maryyymikhail: are there going to be more tickets available 4 EDC new york?”Update (3/13): Insomniac Events’ director Pasquale Rotella tweeted that progress in increasing capacity to EDC in New York was “looking good”, with “official news soon”!

Update (3/09): Tickets for New York’s own Electric Daisy Carnival are ON SALE SOLD OUT. Ticket prices will be $129 for a two-day GA pass, $85 for a single day GA pass, $300 for a VIP two-day pass, and $155 for a VIP one-day pass (excluding fees of course). The immense carnival/electro festival, originally from L.A. and now held annually in Vegas, will be hitting New York’s MetLife (Giant’s) Stadium May 19-20 for the first time ever, and won’t be something to miss!!

Update (4:33pm): Ticket prices have been raised and are now $171.30 for a two-day GA pass, $99.95 for a single day GA pass, $322.20 for a VIP two-day pass, and $171.30 for a VIP one-day pass (all including service fees).

Update (4:41pm): Ticketmaster is experiencing VERY heavy traffic and the one-day passes have become unavailable— not sold out.

Update (4:51pm): Still having trouble accessing even VIP one-day passes.

Update (6:07pm): Think we can say with pretty fair certainty that tickets have SOLD OUT; all options — one-day and two-day, GA and VIP — have been bringing up no results for the past hour.

Update (8:04pm): Tickets to EDC New York have officially sold out, but work is being down to increase the capacity (currently “only” at 30,000/day). More info next week!
