Update (5/27): Seensation has announced a return to the U.S. for this fall. Find out more about this new event here.
Update (9/20): Earlier this morning, we shared a very exciting announcement on our Facebook, and now… we’re proud to announce the full, confirmed lineup for SENSATION INNERSPACE U.S.! In order of appearance, Friday’s show will feature Mr. White, Dennis Ferrer, Fedde Le Grand, Joris Voorn, and Nic Fanciulli, while Saturday will feature a surprisingly different lineup; Mr. White, Danny Tenaglia, Fedde Le Grand, 2000 and One, and Mark Knight are all scheduled to take the immense Barclays Stadium “stage”… #HEREWEGO
Update (8/15): The famed electronic master Danny Tenaglia has accidentally leaked he’ll be appearing at the NYC Sensation this October, adding him to Fedde Le Grand
and rumors of Dash Berlin!
Update (3:40pm): Whisper whisper…might be SHM headlining…whisper whisper…
Update (11:28am): Tickets are available for Friday’s show HERE
and Saturday’s HERE! Code is “LO1NO9SA”, and be sure to select your price level in the first step or it will automatically search for the (more expensive) “Deluxe” tickets! Hearing rumors of the same lineup in the back-to-back shows, but unconfirmed…
Update (10:17am): Somethin’ screwy’s going on between Sensation and Ticketmaster — despite TM’s posting that the presale would begin today at 10am, no one has yet received a presale code and tickets never came online at 10… More news as it becomes available!
Update (6/02, 9:50am) Comprising fees, tickets are actually $170 for General Admission Standing, or $275 for “Deluxe GA Deck”.
Update (6/01): WHOA — according to Ticketmaster‘s page, the presale begins TOMORROW at 10am!
Update (6/01): It’s ON! Sensation U.S. is making its first stop at the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, on Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27. Comprising fees, tickets will be 150$ GA Standing, or 250$ VIP (which adorably includes a private wardrobe, btw), available through Sensation.com or Ticketmaster.com. Interestingly, all attendees must be 21 or older. I HIGHLY advise you register for the presale by RSVPing HERE before June 4th; public onsale will be Friday, June 8th. No word yet on the headliners, tho as previously posted the name Fedde Le Grand is being tossed around…
Update (5/29): Peeps at Sensation America have let slip that the first of the series of events to take place across the U.S. will begin at the Barclays Center of Brooklyn, home to the Brooklyn Nets. It will supposedly take place in late October, with good ol’ Fedde le Grand named as one of the headliners!
Update (5/15): Not much to share, but heard rumors from camp “Sensation,” the stunning EDM show on tour from Amsterdam, that a major announcement is due May 31st. As they have yet to select a U.S. location for their latest tour, “Innerspace”, I’m hoping it relates to that… No clue yet even whether it’ll be an East Coast or West Coast event, North or South…but keeping my hopes up for someplace nearby! For the meantime, enjoy this teaser (above), click through the jump below to catch an awesome how-they-did-it vid (and read more about the festival), and get your fingers crossed for May the thirty-first! #sensationNYC !!!
PS. The default freezeframe of this video shows off three of the festival’s clutch improved and reinvented features: sick highly-visual pyrotechnics, synchronized waterfall designs, and computer-motion-coordinated, multi-dimensional, large-scale art installations as soundscapes (three of the giant orchids contain DJs within…) ::jawdrop::

The first Sensation festival was held in 2000 in Amsterdam, and over 20,000 attended. The following year, the attendance doubled. Taking place recently after the tragic car accident of Sensation CEO Duncan Stutterheim’s brother, he requested that the second year’s crowd come dressed all in white, as did the attendees of his brother’s funeral. When over 80% of the 40,000 attendees arrived completely in white, the visual was so unbelievably breathtaking that the dress code has stuck ever since.
The festival features acrobats and actors (on the ground as well as abseiling from the roof), amazing lightshows, handheld lasers, indoor fireworks, reinvented pyrotechnics, and audience-circulating carnival floats, but one of its most famously exciting parts is the “Megamix”; after the DJs have ended their playing, Sensation presents a “musical trip through history featuring a range of old and new classics, accompanied by a spectacular show and fireworks display.”
Oh yeah, and about the music… little guys like, oh… Afrojack… Tiësto… Sven Vath, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Richie Hawtin, Axwell, Fedde le Grand, Sebastian Ingrosso and so many more have all graced the Sensation stage at some point in their careers. Each show lasts eight hours, and typically features 5 major headliners.
